This is what Success-Driven is about!!!

My friend in a ministry I attend for the past 12 years has a major success story. My friend Dannise, who was a hardcore gang member and a drug addict that resides in the Philippines has accomplished something that no one would have seen. He is a miracle you can say.

The first time I met this guy was in the Bay Area around 10yrs ago. He got a visa to go to the States even after a troubled history he had in his past. Today, you wouldnt even think this guy used to have a really bad past, but with the grace of God, he is here today as a miracle.

After about 5 years of not seeing Dannise, we meet again in September last year as I came over to the Philippines with my parents and help our church in San Pedro, Laguna. I was very happy to see him and know that he is doing good here.

If you don’t know, I am a successful Music Minister. I came over to help this church in their Music Ministry. Dannise has became my drummer ever since I’ve been here. But we had talks before about business stuff and now he knows that I am a person that not only knows how to build a Music Team but also build a business. He also knows that I am a Visionary and sees what can happen if I put ideas together.

Well, one day he picked my brain about Marketing and I’m not knowing that he wants to own his own business himself. I gave him strategies of Marketing and how to make a business successful. I’m not saying I’m an expert, but through my experiences and knowledge, it had inspired him much more that he knows that someone can help him.

Now just this past Saturday, he just opened a Siomai business. He is a new proud business owner. Someone that may have looked upon as someone that had no hope or was just a bad case in the world is now someone that is ambitious and Success-Driven. And how did he start this business? Well, he didnt go to school for it. What he did was ask questions and invested a lot of money on things. And that was it. Well, the 1st one the most important because lot of people getting into businesses don’t ask questions. They let everything fly and see if something can work by itself.

No No and Heck No!!!!!

You have to be really humble and not be a Know-at-All and ask questions. And not just to anybody, ask people who has been successful in the area you want to acheive success in. Why? because they can lead you to the right path on where you need to go. I thank God for meeting someone like Dannise who is Success-Driven and a Miracle
